Wohn (Rothammel)
Peter Wohn, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Rothammel on 21 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9.
Brothers Christian & Peter Wohn, sons of Peter Wohn, are recorded on the 1798 census of Rothammel in Household No. Rt14 along with a note that Christian Wohn is working in the colony of Semenovka.
Brothers Christian & Peter Wohn are recorded on the 1811 census of Rothammel in Household No. 14 along with a note that Peter Wohn relocated to the colony of Kamenka.
Georg Wohn is recorded on the 1834 census of Kamenka in Household No. 211 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Pfeifer.
Johann Georg Wohn from Kamenka is recorded on the 1834 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 164.
The 1767 census records that Peter Wohn came from the German village of Villmar in the Trier region.
