Melchior Heinrich married Anna Margaretha Mohr, daughter of Johann Velten & Anna Christina Mohr, in the Baumholder Catholic Church on 8 January 1732. Anna Margaretha Mohr had been born on 31 March 1712 in Thranenweier and was baptized on 3 April 1712 in the Lutheran Church in Baumholder.
Andreas Heinrich, a farmer, his wife Anna Dorothea, children (Ludwig, age 18; Magdalena, age 8; Katharina, age 6), and sister-in-law [wife's sister] Anna Maria [surname not recorded] (age 22) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a pinque named Slon (Elephant) under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
Andreas Heinrich, a farmer, his wife Anna Dorothea, and children (Ludwig, age 22; Magdalena, age 10; Katharina, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 63. They arrived in Norka on 15 August 1767.
Christoph Thomas Hegele, a braid weaver (Bortenwirker), and his wife Sibilla arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 26 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Die Jäger (The Hunter) under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hölzel on 5 August 1767. Sibilla died there on 10 October 1767. Christoph Thomas Hegele is recorded in Hölzel on the 1767 census in Household No. 57.
Johann Michael Getinger, son of Sebastian Getinger & Anna Maria Wind, was born 6 April 1716 in Adelshofen, a village in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg. He married Eva Marghareta Müller in Adelshofen on 24 May 1751.
They had 2 sons, each born in Adelshofen: (1) Johann Leonhard born 26 March 1753; and (2) Georg Michael born 15 August 1757.
Michael Hettinger and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1762. They joined the migration to Russia in 1765.
Franz Hartung (age 31), a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Anna Maria (age 25), and daughters (Anna Maria, age 6; Magdalena, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Mariental in Household No. 44. They had arrived in Mariental on 14 June 1766.
Widow Marianna [sic] Hartung (age 53) is recorded on the 1798 census of Mariental in Household No. Mt33.
The 1767 census records that Franz Hartung came from the German village of Eger.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Hartung family among the Volga German colonies.
Johannes [Heinrich] Hartung, son of Johann Heinrich Hartung, married Anna Margaretha Reifschneider, daughter of Nikolaus Reifschneider, on 2 November 1748 in Gettenbach. The baptisms of four of their children are recorded in the parish register of Gettenbach: (1) Elisabetha, born 15 March 1749; (2) Johann Christophel, born 19 June 1751; (3) Lorentz, born 9 May 1754; and (4) Anna Margaretha, born 19 September 1757, died 27 November 1758.
Georg Friedrich Grassmann [sic], a cobbler (Schuster), and his wife Anna Sophia arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 7 August 1766 aboard the ship named Nordstern (North Star) under the command of Skipper Detlev Behling.
Johann Fridrich Grassmey, his wife Johanna Sophia, and son Johann Philip (born in route) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Balthasar Götz, a single butcher, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Börse von Lübeck under the command of Skipper Martin Friedrich Markau.
Balzer Götz, a butcher, and his wife settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 Jun 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 41.
Johann Bohn, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Maria (age 1)arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the 2-masted merchant ship named Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Adolph Scharpenberg.
Johannes Bohn, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Maria Eva (age ¼) are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 13. They had arrived in Keller on 12 May 1767.
Following the destruction of the colony of Keller, this family re-settled to Neu-Kolonie.
Lorenz Schroh, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Maria (age 26), children (Heinrich, age 18; Maria Eva, age 15), and [step-]children (Johann Adam [Gärtner], age 5; Anna Maria [Gärtner], age 2; Peter [Gärtner], age 1½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Volmer in Household No. 2. They had arrived in Volmer on 18 July 1766.
An entry from the minutes of the Office of Immigrant Guardianship on 29 April 1776 records that the widower colonist Lorenz Schroh from Volmer has petitioned to marry Magdalena, widow of Franz Ziegler from Seelmann.
