Two Busch families from the village of Roßdorf bei Darmstadt migrated to the Volga German colonies. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Johann Georg Busch of Zeilhard married on 25 December 1712 in Georgenhausen to Susanna Kämmerer.
The baptisms of the following children born to Johann Georg Busch & Susanna Kämmerer are recorded in the parish register of Zeilhard: (1) [perhaps by an earlier wife?] Anna Sophia, born 10 November 1710; (2) Anna Maria, born 14 May 1713; (3) Johann Georg, born 19 September 1716; (4) Maria Elisabetha, born 10 October 1720; (5) Anna Elisabetha, born 26 October 1723; and (6) Johannes, born 12 April 1727.
Father Johann Georg Busch died in Zeilhard on 3 January 1751.
Johann Henrich [sic] Busch, a servant in the household of Herr Baldauff on the Einsiedel, married on 6 December 1765 in Roßdorf bei Darmstadt, Hessen, to Anna Catharina Häusser, daughter of Johann Nicolaus Häusser & Anna Elisabetha Götz. She had been born 10 September 1734 in Rossdorf bei Darmstadt and baptized there on 12 September 1734.
The baptisms of two children born to Johannes Busch [by an earlier wife?] are recorded in the parish register of Roßdorf: (1) Johann Nicolaus, born & baptized 2 February 1761; and (2) Catharina Margretha, born 17 September 1764, baptized 19 September 1764.
Heinrich Busch, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Johann, age 6; Katharina, age 2¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Der Jäger (The Hunter) under the command of Skipper Gabriel Will.
Henrich Busch is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
(2) Johann Heinrich Busch (age 57), a farmer, and his wife Katharina (age 40) are recorded on the 1767 census of Laub in Household No. 10. They arrived in Laub on 12 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Busch came from the German village of Rossdorf in the Darmstadt region.
The 1798 census of the Volga German colonies record three Busch families in/from Laub. They are presumed to be siblings, but exactly who their parents are requires additional research.

The death of Christoph Busch in 1835 is recorded on the 1850 census of Laub in Household No. 50. His descendants are recorded on the 1850 census of Laub in Households No. 50 & 115.
[b] Wilhelm Busch (age 27) and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Laub in Household No. Lb65.
Wilhelm Busch and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Laub in Households No. 31 & 90.
The death of Wilhelm Busch is recorded on the 1850 census of Laub in Household No. 45, but the year is illegible. His descendants are recorded on the 1850 census of Laub in Households No. 45, 46, 163, & 164.
[c] Maria Wild née Busch (age 24) from Laub and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Straub in Household No. Sr50.
She is recorded on the Movement Tables (Mv1504) that accompany the 1798 census of Laub as being the daughter of Heinrich Busch who married Philipp Wild in Straub in 1791.
