Roth (Walter)

Johann Philipp Roth, son of Johann Martin Roth (d. 12 January 1761), was born on 12 September 1742 in Wenings, about 14 kilometers north-northeast of Büdingen in Hessen.

Johann Philipp Roth, a farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Johann Philipp Ruth [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Roth (Anton)

Johann Michael Röth, son of Hans Georg & Anna Barbara Röth, was born in Binsig and baptized on 24 May 1733 in Wald-Michelbach. He immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) where he married on 14 April 1760 in the colony of Altona to Eva Katharina Krämer, daughter of Hans Adam & Sibilla Krämer. She had been born in Siedelsbrunn and baptized on 5 February 1737 also in Wald-Michelbach.

Müller (Warenburg-1)

Heinrich Müller was a miller from the village of Traisa, southeast of Darmstadt.

Johann Heinrich Müller and his wife Anna Clara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. Heinrich Müller, a miller (Müller), his iwfe Anna Klara, and son Johann Konrad (age 3-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 86.

Müller (Rosenheim-1)

Johannes Müller, son of Michael Müller, was born about 1723/25 in the area of Heilbronn / Enz districts. He married Elisabetha Barbara Lantz, daughter of Johann Martin & Anna Dorothea Lantz, on 5 September 1752 in the Evangelical Church of Pfaffenhofen, southwest of Heilbronn. Elisabetha Barbara had been baptized on 21 April 1728 in the same church.

Müller (Moor)

Johann Nicolaus & Catharina Müller had two children who immigrated to Russia: (1) Martin, born in 1737 in Kressenbach; and (2) Catharina, born 5 January 1748 in Kressenbach.

(1) Martin Müller from Wiedermus married on 8 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen to Anna Catharina Knaus, daughter of Johann Hermann Knaus & Anna Margaretha Hoffmann. Anna Catharina had been baptized in Düdelsheim on 9 February 1738.

Mildenberger (Kautz)

Jacob Miltenberger married Anna Maria Schmitt on 8 July 1755 in the Catholic Church of Alsheim, a village between Mainz and Worms. They had one son, Johann Georg, who was baptized on 5 October 1756 in the Alsheim church.

Jakob Mildenberger, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 10½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.

Metzler (Straub)

Johannes Metzler, a son of Heinrich Metzler & Kunigunda Bötigler, was born on 14 July 1746, and baptized on 17 July 1746 in the Langstadt Evangelical Church, north of Gross-Umstadt in Hessen. Johannes married to Catharina Elisabetha (surname unknown). They immigrated to Russia, departing from the port of Lübeck by the ship Die Junger Friederika with the skipper Christian Korsholm, and arriving in Oranienbaum, Russia, on 18 June 1766.

Meier (Shcherbakovka-1)

Christoph Maier, son of Ulrich & Margaretha Maier, was born on 17 May 1732 in Eisingen, southeast of Karlsruhe.

He married on 29 April 1755 in nearby Berghausen to Elisabeth Margaretha Reichenbacher, daughter of Jacob & Catharina Reichenbacher. She had been born on 26 March 1732 in Reichenbach.

The baptisms of three children born to Christoph Maier & Elisabeth Margaretha Reichenbacher in Söllingen have been located: (1) Margaretha, born 26 April 1754; (2) Georg Michael, born 15 June 1758; and (3) Johann Christoph, born 29 December 1760.

Mai / Maÿ (Balzer)

The marriage of Christian Maÿ & Anna Elisabeth Krimp, daughter of Melchior Krimp, is recorded in the parish register of the Lutheran Church in Lindheim on 29 January 1766.

Christian Maÿ, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the galliot Die Fortuna under the command of Skipper Peter Stahl.

Christian Maÿ, a farmer, and his [new] wife Anna Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Balzer in Household No. 71. They had arrived in Balzer on 18 June 1767.
