Dettling, Jakob Friedrich

The Rev. Jakob Friedrich Dettling, son of Johann Dettling & Margaretha Knapp, was born on 8 July 1813 in Mönsheim near Leonberg, Württenberg (Germany).

He studied theology at the Basel Missionary Society and was ordained on 10 September 1842 in Lörrach, Baden (Germany). 

He first married Wilhelmine Christiane Bonwetsch, the sister of Pastor Christoph Heinrich Bonwetsch, on 28 May 1844 in Metzingen, Württemberg. She was born 9 September 1809 in Metzingen.

Desch, Adam

Father Adam Desch was born in 1881 Pfeifer and died on 8 October 1937 in Astrakhan.

He studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained on 22 April 1904. He celebrated his first Mass the following week on 29 April 1904 in his home parish of Pfeifer.

Deggeller, Ernst Eugen

Pastor Ernst Eugen Deggeller was born 14 July 1868 in Karras (North Caucasus) and he died 23 March 1956 in Göttingen, West Germany. He is the son of Pastor Bernhard Deggeller & Elisabeth Lang.

He served the parish in Tsaritsyn from 1895 to 1908. From 1908-1915, he served the congregation of St. Michaelis in St. Petersburg. From 1915-1918, he served the congregation of St. Elisabeth in Kronstadt.

Deggeller, Bernhard

Bernhard Deggeller, son of Johann Caspar Deggeller & Dorothea Pfister, was born 27 April 1822 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and died 25 September 1888 in the Volga German colony of Grimm. He married Elisabeth Lang. She was born 29 November 1831 in Karras (North Caucasus) and died 25 April 1873 in Nikolayevka (North Caucasus).

His first marriage was on 28 October 1856 in Mulbey, India, to Lydia Lang, daughter of Johann Jakob Lang & Margaret Galloway. She was born 1833 in Karras; died 13 September 1858 in Mangalore, Indian.

Dedukla, Johannes

Father Dedukla (some sources: De Ducla) originally served the parish of Mariental. Historian Jacob Dietz reports that Father Dedukla was taken prisoner in 1774 by the Kirghiz. Dietz reports:       

David, Ernst Theophil

The Rev. Ernst Theophil David was born on 14 September 1835 and died in 1907 in Saratov. He was ordained 5 December 1865 and served congregations in the following colonies:

Morgentau (1865-1867)

Balzer (1893-1903)
Gnadenflur (1894)

Dalton, Rudolf

The Rev. Rudolf Dalton was born 4 November 1876. He was ordained on 3 September 1903 and served the following congregations:

Tomsk (1904-1908)
Novgorod (1908-1910)
Tarly? (1910-1912)
Yagodnaya Polyana (1912-1917)

Cramer, Carl

The Rev. Carl Cramer was born 27 May 1882 in Neu-Usen. He was ordained on 21 January 1907 in Tsarizin and served the congregations in Tsarizin (1906-1907); Paulskaya (1907-1909), and Charkow (1909-1918). In 1918, he moved to Germany and became a lecturer at Erlangen.
