Beitz

Johann Adam Baitz, son of Andreas Baitz (a cattle herder & farmhand, married on 19 August 1757 in the Evangelical Church of Georgenhausen to Christina Barbara Berg, daughter of Philipp Simon Berg & Anna Margaretha Dönges. Christina Barbara had been born on 29 May 1730, and baptized on 30 May 1730 in the Evangelical Church of nearby Spachbrücken.

Beisel

Wilhelm Beißel was born 16 September 1670 in Sulzfeld. He died there on 20 July 1747.

Two sons of Wilhelm & Anna Beißel are recorded in Sulzfeld.

(1) Friedrich Jacob Beißel was born 30 January 1711 in Sulzfeld. He married on 13 February 1733 in Sulzfeld to Anna Salome Völke. She was born 15 April 1713 in Sulzfeld.

Beideck

Johann Michael Beideck was born about 1694 in Staffort (today in Baden-Württemberg, just northeast of Karlsruhe). He married Anna Maria Steuber. She was born about 1702 in Kanton Bern (Switzerland) and died in Staffort on 18 May 1750.

They have three sons whose births are recorded in the parish register of Staffort: (1) Johann Martin, born 1726; (2) Johann Martin, born 16 January 1727; and (3) Johannes, born 5 March 1733.

Johann Martin married in Staffort on 14 December 1751 to Anna Katharina Rückert. She was born 9 March 1731 also in Staffort.

Be(h)ringer (Reinwald)

Ludwig Friedrich Böhringer, son of Johann Friedrich Böhringer & Maria Sara Rau, was born on 17 December 1724 in Feldrennach.

He married Maria Barbara (surname unknown), and they had at least seven children, each born and baptized in Feldrennach: (1) Ludwig Friedrich, born 4 February 1750; (2) Regina Margaretha, born 5 September 1751; (3) Elisabetha, born 22 November 1753; (4) Elisabetha [again], born 26 December 1754; (5) Maria Barbara, born 28 June 1757; (6) Susanna Barbara, born 10 April 1759; and (7) Jakob Friedrich, born 18 December 1760.

Beck (Walter)

The Beck family of Gelnhaar has connections to several families that settled in the Volga German colony of Walter.

(1) Joachim Ritzel, son of Asmus and Anna Margaretha Ritzel, married on 9 May 1737 to Elisabetha Margaretha Vogel, the daughter of Hans Adam Vogel. They had at least one child, Julianna, who was born on 8 November 1739.  Julianna Ritzel married Johann Adam Vogel and immigrated to Russia settling in Walter [see the Vogel family].

Beilman(n)

Johann Peter Beilmann was born in Frei-Laubersheim in the Pfalz on 5 December 1725. He married Anna Maria Petri.

Peter Beilmann, a farmer, his wife Anna Maria, and children ([a] Peter, age 14; Barbara, age 13; [b] Johannes, age 10; Maria, age 8; Helena, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Volmer in Household No. 44. They had settled there on 1 April 1767.

Widower Peter Beilmann is recorded on the 1798 census of Volmer in Household No. Vm26 along with the family of his daughter Maria Anna Kämmerer née Beilmann.

Beck (Stahl am Karaman)

Johann Heinrich Beck was born about 1735 in Ortenberg, northwest of Büdingen. His father was Johannes Beck, a forester in Heiken-Bergheim [Heckenbergheim?]. Heinrich married on 11 July 1758 to Anna Catharina Küster, daughter of Johann Christoph Küster and Catharina Elisabeth Rühl. She had been born in Ortenberg on 25 June 1739 and baptized 27 June 1739.

They had two children born/baptized in Ortenberg: (1) Anna Eva, born 16 June 1759, baptized 17 June 1759; and (2) Johanna Catharina, born 12 September 1762, baptized 16 September 1762.

Beck (Shcherbakovka)

Ludwig Beck, son of Johann Michael & Elisabetha Beck, was born on 11 November 1736 in Horrheim, a small village between Stuttgart and Karlsruhe in the Neckar region. He married the widow Katharina Laubhan. [See Laubhan Family.]

Bäcker / Becker (Bauer)

In the parish records of Fränkisch-Crumbach, Johannes Becker from Wersau (4 kilometers north of Fränkisch-Crumbach, and his wife (née Eidemüller) are included in a list of immigrants.

Johannes Becker (age 33), a farmer, and his wife Margaretha Elisabeth Eidenmüller (age 30) are recorded on a list of colonists dated 23 September 1765 who were gathering in the town of Worms. They had arrived in Worms on 22 September 1765.

Bauer (Dönhof)

Georg Michael & David Wilhelm Bauer were sons of Georg Michael Sr. & Anna Margaretha Vielhauer. Both of these boys were baptized in the Böckingen Evangelical Church: Georg Michael on 26 September 1732, and David Wilhelm on 14 March 1744.

Georg Michael Sr. and his family emigrated to Denmark. They departed from Altona, Duchy of Holstein, on 14 June 1762, under the leadership of Adam Saam, and arrived in the city of Flensburg, Duchy of Schleswig, on 19 June 1762.
