Debus

Johann Christian Debus, son of Johann Friedrich Debus & Maria Wilhelmina "Wilhelmina" Moritz, was born in Kölschhausen on 17 September 1741. He married there on 8 February 1763 to Anna Tröster, daughter of Johann Peter Tröster & Anna Barbara Freund. She was born on 7 December 1739 in nearby Niederlemp.

In Niederlemp, they had two children: Johann Peter (born 14 January 1762, before they were married) & Johannes (born 20 January 1764).

Daniel

Johann Wendel Daniel, son of Heinrich Dieter Daniel & Anna Salome Spalt, was born on 5 February 1720 in Groß-Bieberau, 15 kilometers southwest of Darmstadt. He was baptized on the same day in the Groß-Bieberau Evangelical Church. On 20 April 1756 in Wembach, he married Anna Margaretha Mentzer, daughter of Johann Peter Mentzer & Catharina Elisabetha Volck. Anna Margaretha Mentzer had been born 25 January 1734 in Frankenhausen.

Damm (Näb)*

Johann Philipp Damm was born in Reiskirchen. He resided in Großen-Buseck where he had married on 28 June 1747 to Anna Catharina Rausch. They had four children, each born in Großen-Buseck: (1) Anna Barbara, born 21 April 1748; (2) Johann Christoffel, born 24 November 1750; (3) Anna Dorothea, born 28 January 1753; and (4) Elisabetha Dorothea, born 11 May 1756.

The Damms and their three youngest children immigrated to Russia. They left Lübeck aboard the galliot Anna Catharina with Johann Joachim Janson as skipper. The ship arrived in Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766.

Da(h)linger (Galka)

Christianus Dahlinger, son of Johann Michael Dahlinger & Anna Catharina Dahlinger, was baptized in Langenalb on 3 January 1701. He married in Langenalb on 5 December 1724 to Maria Eva Weiß, daughter of Caspar Weiß & Eva Lehmann. She had been baptized in Langenalb on 25 January 1706.

Buxman(n)

Georg Heinrich Buxmann was born 6 January 1717 in Überau, a small village southeast of Reinheim. He married to Elisabeth and they had several children, among whom was Johann Georg (born 19 June 1745 in Überau). Georg Heinrich died on 13 January 1760. His widow remarried Kaspar Axthelm, a sock weaver from Überau. The parish register in Überau records that Axthelm "took off for Russia in the night with his wife and 4 step-children, leaving behind many debts, a house, and goods."

Buxbaum

Johannes Buxbaum, son of Georg Heinrich Buxbaum (3 June 1695-16 May 1776) and Maria Dorothea Maÿ (2 July 1718-27 Feb 1761), was born 27 April 1743 in Sprachbrücken. He decided to immigrate to Russia, and while in Büdingen where families were gathering before they departed for Russia he married Maria Elisabeth Meier.

Buss (Semenovka)

Johannes Buss, a son of Adam & Maria Buss, was born on 27 March 1723 and baptized on 29 March 1723 in the Evangelical (Reformed) Church in Eberstadt, today located in a southern district of the city of Darmstadt.

Burkhardt

Johannes Burkhardt, son of Andreas Burkhardt & Dorothea Klüber, was born 6 July 1732 in Oberhausen, a German village at that time located in the Free Noble Province of Ancient Knights. He was baptized in the neighboring village of Gersfeld the following day. He married in Gersfeld on 15 October 1756 to Margaretha Barthelmeß, daughter of Sebastian Barthelemeß & Elisabetha Wohlmacher. She had been born in Gersfeld on 8 March 1734.

Burbach (Messer)

Johann Conradt Burbach married in Hüttengesäß on 21 September 1715 to Anna Maria Zieg. Ann Maria Burbach née Zieg died in Hüttengesäß on 16 February 1722.

Among the children of Johann Conradt Burbach & Anna Maria Zieg whose baptisms are recorded in the parish register of Hüttengesäß are: (1) Conrad, baptized in 1716; and (2) Anna Dorothea, baptized 12 March 1719.
