Halle (Salle) (Stadt), Saxony-Anhalt

Halle was part of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg until 1680 when it fell to Brandenburg as part of the Treaty of Westphalia. In 1815, Halle became part of the Prussian Province of Saxony.
