Bierig
Andreas Bierig, a farmer, his wife Sophia, and children (Johann [August], age 17½; Georg, age 10; Gottlieb, age 7; Katharina, age 4; Maria, age 2) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dietel where son August is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Dt73. Son Johann Georg Bierig from Dietel is recorded on the 1798 census of Bauer in Household No. Br55.
Friedrich Jacob Philipp Bierich from Messer and his family are recorded on the 1834-1850 Messer Family List in Household No. 238.
Johann Jakob Bierig and his family moved from Neu-Bauer to Stavropol in 1897.
Heinrich Bierig moved from Neu-Bauer to Armavir in 1897.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Bierig came from the German region of Danzig.
