Brunner (Galka)
Christoph Brunner, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 12 April 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25 as a widower with a son, Karl Ludwig (age 1½).

The death of Karl Ludwig Brunner in 1824 is recorded on the 1834 census of Galka in Household No. 59 along with a note that his son Georg Konrad moved to the colony of Dobrinka in 1834.
Johann [sic] Konrad Brunner from Galka and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 154.
Heinrich Brunner is recorded on the 1850 census of Galka in Household No. 208 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Grimm in 1848.
Heinrich Brunner and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Grimm in Household No. 346.
The 1767 census records that Christoph Brunner came from the German region of Darmstadt.
