There are 4 Herdt families associated with the colony of Schwab. Their relationship to each other, if any, requires additional research.

(1) In 1790, Peter Herdt moved from Schwab to Dobrinka.

Peter Herdt from Schwab is recorded on the 1798 census of Dobrinka in Household No. Db18.

Immanuel Herdt, son of Peter Herdt, his brothers, and their families are recorded on the 1834 census of Dobrinka in Households No. 29 & 121.

Johann Peter Herdt, son of Immanuel Herdt, and his family are recorded on the 1850 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 158.

Johann Peter Herdt and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 169 along with a note that they relocated to the daughter colony of Rosenberg in 1852. They are recorded on the 1857 census of Rosenberg in Household No. 36.

(2) In 1790, Johannes Herdt moved from Schwab to Müller.

Johannes Herdt from Schwab is recorded on the 1798 census of Müller in Household No. Ml04.

(3) Adam Herdt is recorded on the 1798 census of Schwab in Household No. Sb27.

The death of Johannes Herdt, son of Adam Herdt, in 1818 is recorded on the 1834 census of Schwab in Household no. 93.

Georg Jakob & Heinrich Peter Herdt, sons of Johannes Herdt, and their families are recorded on the 1857 census of Friedenberg.

(4) Johann Karl Herdt is recorded on the 1798 census of Schwab in Household No. Sb28.
