Widow Anna Margaretha Hergenröther and her children (Johann Adam, age 6½; Johann, age 4½; Anna Margaretha, age 2½; Anna Katharina, age 1-month) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Saratov under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 where Anna Margaretha remarried to the widower Jakob Krämer. They are recorded on the 1767 census of Sewald in Household No. 17.
The 1798 census of Volmer records Johann Adam Hergenräder from Sewald in Household No. Vm09.
The 1834 census of Volmer records that Ignatius Hergenreder moved from Volmer to Schuck in 1824.
Peter Hergenreder, his brothers, and their families are recorded on the 1857 census of Marienfeld.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Margaretha Hergenröther came from the German region of Fulda.
