There are three Keberlein families that settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer. They are each from the Würzburg region of Germany. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Andreas Keberlein, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and Andreas is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 66 along with his new wife Margaretha.
Widower Andreas Keberlein and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf79.
Johannes Keberlein, brother of Adam Keberlein, is recorded on the 1834 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 19 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Semenovka.
Johannes Keberlein from Pfeifer and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Semenovka in Household No. 100.
Ivan Keberlein from Pfeifer (age 10) is recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 76.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Keberlein came from the German region of Franken (Franconia) while the 1767 census records that he came from Würzburg.

The 1767 census records that Dorothea Keberlein came from the German village of Arnstein in the Würzburg region.
