Krumm (Kukkus)
Sebastian Krumm, his wife Anna, and children (Johann [Konrad], age 17½; [Johann] Georg, age 15; Katharina, age 8; Anna, age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
Sebastian Krumm, his wife Anna Juliana, and children (Conrad, age 18; Johann Georg, age 17; Anna Catarina, age 11; Anna Maria, age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that the youngest daughter Anna Maria died en route.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 38.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Sebastian Krumm was a joiner while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Wenings in the district of Isenburg.
