Richter (Urbach)
Christian Gottlieb Richter & Johanna Catharina Hebel were married on 13 June 1766 in Roßlau.
Johann Gottlieb Richter and his wife Johanna Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Urbach on 13 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 18.
In 1775, Gottlieb Richter and his family left Urbach. His widow is recorded on the 1798 census of Schulz in Household No. Sz08.
In 1798, Michael Richter moved from Schulz to Reinhard.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Gottlieb Richter was a miller while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker).
The 1767 census records that Gottlieb Richter came from the German village of Görlitz in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
The 1767 census also records that his wife Johanna Katharina came from the German village of Wernburg.
