Widow Katharina Schiebel [sic] and her sons Johann (age 18), Kaspar (age 15), and Adam (age 10) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Kronstadt under the command of Lieutenant Samuel Gibbs.

Katharina remarried to Friedrich Vorbach. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 76. The 1767 census does not record their surname of Schiebelhut.

Son Johann Schiebelhut and his family are recorded on the 1775 census of Beideck in Household No. 73.

The 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk records Johann Schiebelhut from Beideck in Household No. St29.

Son Adam Schiebelhut and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt02.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Katharina Schiebel came from the German region of Riedesel.
