Discussion & Documentation

Peter Worster, his wife, and two children immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) arriving in Flensburg on 19 June 1762.

They are last recorded in the Danish colonies on 12 January 1765. They joined the migration to Russia and are recorded on the 1775 census of Schilling in Household No. 21.

In 1790, Georg Worster moved from Schilling to Balzer.

The 1798 census of Schilling (Sg076) records that Kaspar Worster is working as a shepherd in the colony of Dönhof.

The Eichhorns record that Peter Würster [sic] came from the German village of "Ittlingen, Ritterlicher Kanon Kraichgau, Herrschaft von Freiherr von Gemmingen."
