Weis(s) (Sewald)

Sebastian Weiss, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20.

In 1788, Sebastian Weiss and his family moved from Sewald to Seelmann.

The 1767 census records that Sebastian Weiss came from the German region of Rot.

Altmeier

Mattias Altmeier, a farmer, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and children (Johann Christian, age 19; Maria Elisabeth, age 8; Johann Nikolaus, age 6; Leonhard, age 4; Anna Elisabeth, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.

Treitz

Johannes Treutz, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Hans Jakob, age 17; Heinrich, age 14½; Anna Maria, age 4; Maria Anna, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.

Heinrich Treitz from Sewald and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Franzosen in Household No. Fz21.

Rösser*

Konrad Rösser, a joiner (Tischler), his wife Anna, and [step]children (Johann [Wendel], age 16¼; Anna [Wendel], age 10¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Severnyi Orel (Northern Eagle) under the command of Lieutenant Pyotr Malenkov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

Widow Margaretha Rösser is recorded on the 1798 census of Sewald in Household No. Sd18.

Köhler (Sewald)

Georg Köhler, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Severnyi Orel (Northern Eagle) under the command of Lieutenant Pyotr Malenkov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

The 1767 census records that Georg Köhler came from the German village of Dirmstein in the Worms region.

Kreutzer (Sewald)

Georg Kreutzer, a tailor (Schneider), and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Severnyi Orel (Northern Eagle) under the command of Lieutenant Pyotr Malenkov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Sewald on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9.

The 1767 census records that Georg Kreutzer came from the German village of Holzkirchen in the Würzburg.
