Niedens

Heinrich Samuel Niedens, a shoemaker from Lübeck, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.

In 1788, Michael Gottlieb Niedens and his family moved from Kratzke to Müller.

Johann Samuel Niedens from Kratzke and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Müller in Household No. Ml19.

The descendants of Johann Samuel Niedens are recorded on the 1834 census of Müller in Households No. 34, 37, & 58.

Schneider (Kratzke-2)

The births of five children born to Theobald & Elisabeth Barbara Schneider have been located in Herschberg: (1) Johann Adam, born 5 April 1756, baptized 6 April 1756; (2) Johann Valentin, born 22 July 1757, baptized 23 July 1757; (3) Georg Jacob, born 9 July 1759, baptized 10 July 1759; (4) Anna Margaretha, born 24 October 1761, baptized 25 October 1761; and (5) Anna Ottila, born 4 April 1765, baptized 5 April 1765. 

Schneider (Kratzke-1)

Nikolaus Schneider, a fabric weaver (Stoffweber), his wife Maria Katharina, son Johann Friedrich (age ½), and stepson Johann Heinrich [surname not recorded] (age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 6. They had settled there on 7 August 1766.

The 1767 Kratzke census records that this Schneider family is from Salzwedel in Brandenburg.

Schröder (Kratzke)

Johann Wilhelm Schröder, a soldier (Soldat), his wife Intera [?], and children (Samuel Gottfried, age 18; Maria Eleonora, age 11; Karl Friedrich, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 24. They had arrived in Kratzke on 7 August 1766.

Samuel Gottfried Schröder and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr27.

The death of Samuel Schröder in 1820 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 41.

Gideon

Heinrich Gideon and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 7 July 1766.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

Heinrich Gideon and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr17.

The death of Heinrich Gideon in 1825 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 29.

Georg Philipp Gideon from Kratzke and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Ährenfeld.

Berschauer

Daniel Berschauer, a sackcloth weaver (Sackleinenweber), his wife Katharina Margaretha, and son Daniel are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 4. They had arrived in Kratzke on 7 August 1766.

Daniel Berschauer and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr14.

The surname is erroneously recorded as Burgardt on the 1767 census as well as the 1798 census.  However, thereafter, the children of this family are recorded clearly as Berschauer.

Boxberger

Johann Adam Bockbarger [sic] & Maria Catharina Roszbach were married on 18 July 1765 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Johann Adam Boxberger (age 48), a blacksmith (Schmied), his wife Maria Katharina (age 32), and a daughter Anna Margaretha (age 6) settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 8 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.
