Imantav, Aryk-Balyk District, Kokchetav Region, Kazakhstan

Originally founded in 1850, this village became part of a Cossack settlement.  In 1908, it was reorganized as a village of its own.  Volga German families were resettled there during the 1941 Deportation.

During the reorganization of the area following the independence of Kazakhstan in the 1990s, this settlement was renamed to Imantau.  Most of the Volga German families have immigrated to Germany.
