Schneider (Straub)

Johann Christian Schneider, son of Johannes Schneider & Anna Dorothea Weydenbach, was born on 10 July 1740 in Hasselborn, a small village located 4 miles north of Usingen in Hessen.

Christian Schneider & Anna Margaretha Reitz, both from Hasselborn in the area of Usingen, were married on 22 April 1766 in the City Lutheran Church of Friedberg.

Schmidt (Galka)

Georg Kaspar Schmidt was born in 1710 in Ochsenburg, a little town 13 kilometers west of Brackenheim, in Baden-Württemberg. He married Anna Maria Mayer, who had been born in 1716. They had four children, each born and baptized in the Ochsenburg Evangelical Church: (1) Georg Nikolaus, born 18 March 1744; (2) Georg Michael, born 28 September 1748; (3) Georg Kaspar, born 31 July 1751; and (4) Maria Magdalena, born 23 December 1756.

Schmidt (Frank-1)

Johann Christoph Schmidt, son of Johann Heinrich Schmidt, married on 15 April 1749 in Sprendlingen to Susanna Maria Blechschmidt, daughter of Anthon Blechschmidt & Justina Sabina Löffler. She had been born 1 September 1728 in Sprendlingen.

Schmidt (Dietel-1)

Matthias Schmidt was married in Kork on 24 June 1761 to Barbara Wegel, daughter of Jacob Wegel & Barbara Lutz. She had been born in Kork on 13 December 1738.

Matthias and Barbara had 2 children, each born and baptized in Kork: (1) Johann Jacob, born 9 February 1763, baptized 11 February 1763, died 8 April 1763; and (2) Elisabeth, born 13 March 1764, baptized 14 March 1764.

Schäfer (Stephan-1)

Johann Albert Schäfer, son of Johann & Maria Christina Schäfer, was baptized on 9 June 1728 in the Heiliggeist Evangelical Church of Heidelberg. He married to Anna (Maria) Katharina Teychellampf, daughter of Philipp Wilhelm Teychellampf, on 23 January 1761 in the Evangelical Church of Gaugrehweiler, which is a municipality 93 kilometers northwest of Heidelberg.

They had two sons whose baptisms are recorded in Gaugrehweiler: (1) Johann Christian Wilhelm, baptized on 28 December 1761; and (2) Michael Friedrich Anton, baptized on 29 October 1764.

Roth (Walter)

Johann Philipp Roth, son of Johann Martin Roth (d. 12 January 1761), was born on 12 September 1742 in Wenings, about 14 kilometers north-northeast of Büdingen in Hessen.

Johann Philipp Roth, a farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Johann Philipp Ruth [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Roth (Anton)

Johann Michael Röth, son of Hans Georg & Anna Barbara Röth, was born in Binsig and baptized on 24 May 1733 in Wald-Michelbach. He immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) where he married on 14 April 1760 in the colony of Altona to Eva Katharina Krämer, daughter of Hans Adam & Sibilla Krämer. She had been born in Siedelsbrunn and baptized on 5 February 1737 also in Wald-Michelbach.

Müller (Warenburg-1)

Heinrich Müller was a miller from the village of Traisa, southeast of Darmstadt.

Johann Heinrich Müller and his wife Anna Clara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

He and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. Heinrich Müller, a miller (Müller), his iwfe Anna Klara, and son Johann Konrad (age 3-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 86.

Müller (Rosenheim-1)

Johannes Müller, son of Michael Müller, was born about 1723/25 in the area of Heilbronn / Enz districts. He married Elisabetha Barbara Lantz, daughter of Johann Martin & Anna Dorothea Lantz, on 5 September 1752 in the Evangelical Church of Pfaffenhofen, southwest of Heilbronn. Elisabetha Barbara had been baptized on 21 April 1728 in the same church.

Müller (Moor)

Johann Nicolaus & Catharina Müller had two children who immigrated to Russia: (1) Martin, born in 1737 in Kressenbach; and (2) Catharina, born 5 January 1748 in Kressenbach.

(1) Martin Müller from Wiedermus married on 8 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen to Anna Catharina Knaus, daughter of Johann Hermann Knaus & Anna Margaretha Hoffmann. Anna Catharina had been baptized in Düdelsheim on 9 February 1738.
