Will (Straub)

Johann Philipp Will, son of Johann Wilhelm Will & Anna Dorothea Steinhausen, was baptized on 10 July 1729 in Hasselborn. On 15 December 1752, he married Anna Veronica Holland, daughter of Johann Konrad Holland, in the Lutheran Church in Groß-Rechtenbach, southeast of Wetzlar.      

Willmann (Messer)

Johann Ernst Willmann, son of Johann Henrich Willmann & Maria Elisabeth Lieder, was born 17 April 1727 in Düdelsheim. He married Anna Maria Hartt, daughter of Johannes Hartt & Anna Dorthea Trieber, on 7 April 1766 in nearby Wolf. Anna Maria Hartt had been baptized 12 April 1739 in Wolf.

They immigrated to Russia, arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Windecker (Walter)

Johann Georg Windecker married Susanna Elisabetha Ehrlich had four children: (1) Anna Christina; (2) Franz Christian; (3) Anna Maria, born in June 1754 in Herrnhaag; and (4) Johann Benedict, born 26 September 1756 in Herrnhaag. Susanna died and in May 1762, Johann Georg remarried in Herrnhaag to Anna Elisabeth Wenzel, daughter of Conrad Wenzel.

Frantz Christian Windecker & Anna Catharina Koch, youngest daughter of the deceased Caspar Koch former subject of Lorbach, were married on 21 March 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Stiehl

Johann Philipp Stiehl, son of Heinrich Stiehl of Bierstadt/Wiesbaden, married on 31 October 1758 in Trais-Horloff, northwest of Nidda, to Anna Catharina Raab, daughter of Johannes Raab & Anna Margaretha Grothe. She had been born there on 6 February 1742.

They had three known children: (1) Johann Ludwig, born 26 November 1759; (2) Johann Friedrich, born 8 June 1762; and (3) Johann Henrich, born 18 March 1764.

Stössel (Dehler)

Johann Heinrich Stössel was born in 1730 in Undenheim, a village in the Mainz-Bingen district about 12 kilometers northwest of Worms, in what today is part of Rhineland-Palatinate. He married Maria Katharina Steinmetz, daughter of Johann Adam & Christina Steinmetz, on 3 May 1758 in the Catholic Church in Westhofen, a village between Undenheim and Worms. Today, Westhofen is part of the collective municipality called Wonnegau. She had been baptized on 28 December 1732 in Deidesheim, southwest of Worms.      

Strohmann

Michael Strohmann, son of Christian Strohmann, married on 9 November 1757 in Bolzhurst to Catharina Adolph, daughter of Philipp Adolph. Catharina Adolph had been born in Legelshurst on 1 October 1734 and baptized on 3 October 1734.

Stromberger

Johann Conrad Stromberger, son of Georg Stromberger (1667 - 16 March 1733) and Anna Katharina Hartmann (18 September 1670 - 10 September 1736) was born 24 June 1698 in Spachbrücken, Dieburg, Hessen-Darmstadt. He married in Spachbrücken on 27 April 1730 to Anna Elisabeth Kopp, daughter of Johann Nikolaus Kob/Koop and Elisabeth Barbara Stochard. She was born 20 August 1709 in Reinheim.

Suppes (Hussenbach-1)

Johann Martin Suppes, son of Heinrich Suppes, was born on 15 February 1715 in Unter-Seibertenrod.

Johan Martin Suppus [sic], a blacksmith (Schmidt [sic]) from the area of Riedesel, & Gerdrut [sic] Schotten née Rod, a widow from the area of Isenburg, were married on 29 July 1766 in Pastor Bruns's house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Stroh (Frank)

Johann Philipp Stroh, son of Johann Georg Stroh & Gertraude Neubecker, was born 23 October 1712 in Sprendlingen. He married in Sprendlingen on 2 December 1738 to Catharina Schickedanz, daughter of Cyriac Schickedanz & Anna née Schickedanz. Catharina had been born in Sprendlingen on 3 June 1711.

Kader*

Elisabeth Margaretha Kader, daughter of Johannes Leonhard & Anna Maria Kader, was born on 1 July 1741 and baptized on 3 July 1741 in Höchst.

Anna Margaretha Kather of Höchst in the area of Erbach & Johann Adam Thürnoff from Eschen were married 28 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen. Other spellings of this surname in various records include Dirolf, Thüruff, and Tyrolff.
