Nasvogel*

Andreas Nasvogel and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Andreas Nasvogel and his [new?] wife Maria are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Andreas died in route.

It is not known in which colony his widow settled.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Nasvogel family among the Volga German colonies.

Meier (Unknown-9)*

Simon Meier, his wife Anna, and children (Simon, age 20; Katharina, age 12; Elisabeth, age 9) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Simon Meier, his wife Anna, and children (Simon, age 20; Katharina, age 12; Elisabeth, age 9) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Meier family among the Volga German colonies.

Feuerstein (Unknown)*

Maria Ferstein [sic], maid to the Heinrich Hans family, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Maria Fester [sic] is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with the Heinrich Gans [sic] family - all of whom died in route.

It is not known in which colony Maria settled.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Ferstein/Fester [Feuerstein?] family among the Volga German colonies.

Hans (Did Not Arrive)*

Heinrich Hans, his wife Anna, and children (Valentin,age 16; Katharina, age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm along with their maid Maria Ferstein/Fester/Feuerstein.

Heinrich Gans [sic], his wife Anna, and children (Valentin, age 16; Catharina, age 1½ [perhaps 7½]) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that all of them died in route. Their maid is also traveling with them and she did not die.

Seibel (Unknown)*

Johann Seibel, his wife Katharina, and children (Elisabeth, age 16; Johann, age 9) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Johannes Seibel, his wife Catharina, and children (Elisabeth, age 16; Johann, age 9) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that the father and son both died in route.

It is not known in which colony the surviving family members settled.

Schmidt (Unknown-7)*

Herrmann Schmidt, his wife Anna, and children (Paul, age 12; Gertruda, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Hermann Schmidt, his wife Anna, and children (Paul, age 12; Margaretha, age 1½) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Margaretha died in route.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

Fischer (Unknown)*

Johann Fischer, his wife Margaretha, and daughters (Eva, age 11; Katharina, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Schmidt (Unknown-6)*

Johann Schmidt and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm. Traveling with them was the widow Maria Schmidt. Widow Maria Schmidt's relationship to Johann Schmidt is not recorded, but she is presumed to be related to him [could be his mother? or his sister? or his sister-in-law?].

Neuberger (Unknown)*

Joseph Neuberger and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Joseph Neuberger and his wife Catharina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

Wamser*

Philipp Wamser, his wife Appolonia, and son Wilhelm (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm.

Philipp Wamser, his wife Appolonia, and son Wilhelm (age ¾) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that son Wilhelm died in route.

It is not known in which colony they settled.
