Wilhelmi

Joseph Wilhelmi, a cooper (Fassbinder), his wife Amalia Friedrika, and son Michael Friedrich (age 8-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 28. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

Son [Michael] Friedrich Wilhelmi and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka116.

His sons and their families are recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Households No. 18, 227, 291, & 319.

Gutjahr

Samuel Gutjahr, a hunter on horseback (Schnelläufer), and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 37. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Samuel Gutjahr came from the German village of Mitau in the Kurland region and that Anna Maria came from the German village of Lutherborn in the Isenburg region.

Samuel Gutjahr's children are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka098.

Held(t) (Schaffhausen-2)*

Johann Albrecht Heldt, a carpenter (Tischler), and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 15 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Schaffhausen in 1768. They had settled in Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1766.

The 1767 census records that Johann Albrecht Heldt came from the German village of Ulm in the Schwaben (Swabia) region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Heldt family among the Volga German colonies.

Stahlbaum (Katharinenstadt)

Kornelius Stahlbaum, a merchant (Kaufmann), his wife Anna, and son Samuel (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 133. They had settled there on 7 June 1767.

The 1767 census records that Kornelius Stahlbaum came from the Dutch town of Amsterdam in Holland and that his wife Anna came from the town of London in England.

Sommer (Katharinenstadt)

Carl Sommer & Johanna Dorothea Pauli were married 2 September 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Karl Sommer, a physician (Arzt), and his wife Anna Paulÿ are recorded on the 1767 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 83 along Gottfried Paulÿ (age 17), Anna's brother and a note that they all relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Karl Sommer came from the Austrian town of Vienna.
