Irle

Christoph Irle, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and children (Cecilia, age 15½; Barbara, age 13; Maria Elisabeth, age 10; Valentin, age 8)  are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka in Household in Household No. 4. They had settled there on 24 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Irle came from the German village of Hammelburg in the Fulda region.

Jerkop

Balthasar Jerkop, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Johann Adam, age 12; Margaretha, age 11) are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka in Household No. 25. They had settled there on 24 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Balthasar Jerkop came from the German village of Robsteis [?] in the Fulda region.

Kiebert*

There are two Kiebert families that arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Wachsamkeit under the command of Skipper Jacob Heinrich Sager. They are assumed to be related because they travelled together to Oranienbaum and then on to Saratov. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Christoph Kiebert, a farmer, and his wife Dorothea arrived in Oranienbaum.

Matelheim*

Johann Mittelhein [sic], a stonemason, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.

Georg Matelheim [sic], a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767.  He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Mittelhein came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Georg Matelheim came from the German village of Rar [?] in the Kurmainz region.

Röthling (Semenovka)*

Valentin Reting [sic] and his wife Anna Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl.

Johann Valentin Rothling and his wife Anna Margretha are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Valentin Röthling, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 2.

Schmidt (Seelmann-2)

Johann Jakob Schmidt (age 16) and his brother Johannes (age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 10 along with their stepfather Johannes Krug.

Jakob Schmidt "escaped" - date is not recorded but evidently before 1788.

The 1767 census does not record from where Johann Jakob Schmidt came.

Flanz

Michael Flanz, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 23.

The 1767 census records that Michael Flanz came from the village of Simmern in Luxembourg.
