Haussorg

Johann Haussorg, a blacksmith, his wife Anna, and children (Georg, age 12; Maria, age 10; Johann, age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.

The surviving children (Georg Philipp, age 14; Johann, age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No 10 along with the Johann Hartmann Todt family [they had arrived in Oranienbaum together on the same ship]. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Hassorg and Todt families.

Müller (Seelmann-3)

Widow Margaretha Müller and her unnamed husband settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 24 August 1767. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 80 along with a note that the unnamed husband had died on 6 November 1767.

The 1767 census records that Margaretha Müller came from the German region of Reutlingen.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Müller (Seelmann-2)

Adam Müller and his wife Magdalena settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 16 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 75 along with a note that he "ran away from the colony 3 weeks ago" and his debt was assumed by the community.

Meier (Seelmann)*

Johannes Meier, a farmer, his wife Mara Elisabeth, and daughter Maria Magdalena (age ¼) are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 63. They had settled there on 16 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Meier came from the German village of Birk.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Meier family among the Volga German colonies.

Kielwein*

Widow Anna Maria Kielwein is recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 85 along with a note that her husband had died on 15 November 1767. They had settled there on 24 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Anna Maria Kielwein came from the region of Triest [Trieste?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Kieffer

Heinrich Kieffer, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 16. They had settled there on 15 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Kieffer came from the German village of Dasbach.

Homes

Michael Homes, a single cobbler (Schuhmacher), is recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 88. He had settled there on 15 August 1767. The 1767 census records that he left a wife in Germany, and that he married in route to Russia to the daughter of Andreas Mehl who was part of the group being led by Lieutenant Oldenburg.

The 1767 census records that Michael Homes came from the German region of Bamberg.

Dächler

Johann Dächler, a farmer, his wife Maria Franziska, and children (Maria, age 18; Bonifacius, age 5; Georg, age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 51. They had settled there on 5 September 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Dächler came from the village of Lacorom [?] in the Alsace region.
