Braun (Grimm-2)

Conrad Braun from Deckenbach in the district of Homburg on the Ohm & Eliesab. Wirsing from Marckhöbel were married on 4 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Konrad Braun, a weaver, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

They are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 150 along with daughters Katharina (age 6) and Eva Maria (age ¾).

Eckhardt (Bangert)

Christoph Eckert, a baker (Bäcker), and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Bangert in Household No. 22. They settled there on 1 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Eckert came from the German village of Esch in the Nassau region.

Triller (Balzer)*

The marriage of Conrad Schneider & Anna Margaretha Triller is recorded in the parish register of the Lutheran Church in Büdingen.

Konrad Schneider, a farmer, his wife Anna, and his mother[-in-law] Anna [Triller] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.

Ulrich (Balzer)*

Widow Maria Elisabeth Ulrich is recorded on the 1767 census of Balzer in Household No. 69 along with her son-in-law Weil Becker.

The 1767 census does not record from where Maria Elisabeth Ulrich came.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Ulrich family among the Volga German colonies.

Witker*

Ludwig Witker (age 12) and his sister Sophia (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Grimm in Household No. 26 along with his stepfather Gottlieb Schulz.

They are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 110.

The 1767 census records that the Schulz family came from the German region of Darmstadt. Perhaps the Witker children also came from there.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Weber (Grimm-4)

Johann Conrad Weber, son of Joseph Weber & Anna Elisabeth Keil, was born 10 August 1719 in Nieder-Ohmen and baptized there on 13 August 1719.

Johann Conrad Weber married in Nieder-Ohmen on 20 April 1741 to Anna Elisabetha Hönig, daughter of Johannes Hönig & Magdalena Schmitt. Anna Elisabetha Hönig had been born in Nieder-Ohmen on 18 October 1721 and baptized there on 20 October 1721.

Weber (Grimm-3)

Johann Wendel Weber, stepson of Daniel Zieg, is recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 23.

He and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm012.

Weber (Grimm-2)

Johann Heinrich Weber, his wife Eva Margaretha [Lindt], and son Johannes (age 2) are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 88.

Heinrich Weber and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm003 along with a note that his son Johann Ludwig is working in Dinkel and son Georg Adam is training to be a tailor in Dönhof. This Johann Ludwig Weber and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Bauer in Household No. 76.

The death of Heinrich Weber in 1816 is recorded on the 1834 census of Grimm in Household No. 77.

Volmer (Grimm)

Karl Volmer and his wife Eva Maria are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 128.

Eva Maria Volmer, widow of Karl Volmer, and her children are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm041.

The 1834 census of Grimm records in Household No. 325 that Daniel Volmer moved from Grimm to Schilling in 1834.
