Feldening

Johann Jakob Feldening (age 8) is recorded on the 1767 census of Schwed in Household No. 20 along with his mother Christina Elisabeth who is married to Franz Rosinski.

The 1767 census records that Christina Elisabeth (and presumably her son) came from the German town of Königsberg in the region of Prussia.

Frühwald*

Gottfried Frühwald, a farmer, and his wife Dorothea settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 1 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15.

The 1767 census records that Gottfried Frühwald came from the area of Berlin in the German region of Prussia.

Gross (Schwed)*

Johann[es] Gross, a farmer, his wife Anna Regina, and daughter Anna (age 5) arrived from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 April  1766 aboard a two-masted merchant ship named Der Kleine Andreas (The Little Andrew) under the command of Skipper Jacob Jensen.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 12 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3 along with newborn son Johann Martin (age 2-weeks).

The 1767 census records that Johannes Gross came from the German town of Königsberg in the region of Prussia.

Kapp (Schwed)*

Johannes Kapp, a farmer, and his wife Anna Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 12 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

Konrad Kapp and his wife Anna Katharina Koslowski are recorded on the 1798 census of Schwed in Household No. Sw16.

The death of Konrad Kapp in 1808 is recorded on the 1811 census of Schwed in Household No. 16.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Kapp came from the German village of Stolp in the region of Prussia.

Jäger (Schwed)

Andreas Jäger, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and her children (Johann Kater, age 15; Anna Katharina Kater, age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwed in Household No. 2. They had settled in Schwed on 12 July 1767.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Jäger came from the German village of Lauterbach.

Hühn*

Johann Bernhardt Hühn, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 1 July 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

The 1767 census records that Johann Bernhardt Hühn came from the German town of Königsberg in the region of Prussia.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Hühn family among the Volga German colonies.

Herdt (Schwed)

Adam Herdt, a farmer, his wife Maria [Barbara], and children (Johann [Andreas], age 9; Anna, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 May 1766 aboard a pink named Новая Двинка (New Dvinka [a river in Russia]) under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.
