Lionier*

Johann Lionier, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 2. They had settled in Enders on 27 March 1765.

The 1767 census records that Johann Lionier came from the German village of Mitau in the Kurland region and that his wife came from the town of Rilik in Denmark.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Kronstan*

Hartmann Kronstan (age 12) and his sister Katharina (age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 13 along with their mother Christina who had remarried to Karl Adam Kiewit.

The 1767 census records that the Kronstan family came from the German village of Strausberg in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Kraus (Enders)*

Andreas Kraus, a tobacco farmer (Tabakbauer), immigrated from Bern, Switzerland, to the German region of Brandenburg. He moved from there to Schleswig-Holstein (Denmark) arriving in the town of Schleswig on 17 March 1761. He married there to [Anna] Margaretha Güthlen (age 28).

While in Schleswig-Holstein, he is recorded with 4 step-daughters [surname not recorded]: Anna Katharina, age 17; Anna Wilhelmina Charlotta, age 13; Anna Susanna, age 12; Elisabeth, age 2.

They left the Danish colonies in July 1763 and joined the migration to Russia.

Kiewit

Karl Adam Kiewit, a farmer, his wife Christina, and her children (Hartmann Kronstan, age 12; Katharina Kronstan, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 13. They had settled in Enders on 27 July 1765.

The 1798 census of Enders records in Household No. 34 that Ludwig Kiewit and his brother Zacharias are working in Krasnoyar.

The 1767 census records that Karl Adam Kiewit came from the Swedish city of Stockholm.

Hepp (Grimm)

Kaspar Hepp, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Grimm and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36 along with a new wife Anna Maria and her son Johann Friedrich [surname not recorded].

Hunsheimer

Jakob Hutzheimer [sic], a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and sons (Johann Georg, age 17; Johann Just, age 13) arrived from 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Hildmann on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Jakob Hutzheimer came from the German region of Hessen. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Rheinfeld.

Weber (Kautz)

Christian Weber, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Katharina (age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.

In 1788, Johannes Weber moved from Kautz to Jost.

Widow Katharina Weber is recorded on the 1798 census of Kautz in Household No. Kz20.

Johann Weber from Kautz is recorded on the 1798 census of Jost in Household No. Jo39 along with a note that he is tending livestock in Laub.

Riehl (Kautz)

Johannes Riehl (age 16) is recorded on the 1767 census of Kautz in Household No. 26 along with his stepfather Heinrich Dewald. He is recorded on the 1798 census of Kautz in Household No. Kz04.
