Rollhausen*

Kaspar Rollhausen, a single tailor (Schneider), is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou (No. 122). A note on the 1767 census records that he settled in the Volga German colony of Kind in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Kaspar Rollhausen came from the German region of Darmstadt.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rollhausen family among the Volga German colonies.

Müller (Kind)*

Orphan Johann Peter Müller (age 18) is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 11 along with the Johannes Seltzer family.

The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Seltzer and Müller families.

In 1784, Johann Peter Müller moved from Kind to Paulskaya.

In 1787, Johann Philipp Müller moved from Kind to Meinhard.

Peter Müller from Kind is recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl63.

The 1767 census does not record from where Johann Peter Müller came.

Emich / Emig (Kind)

Johann Georg Emich, son of Johann Heinrich Emich & Anna Maria Bernhard, was born 5 September 1718 in Rodau. He married in Groß-Bieberau on 7 January 1745 to Maria Catharina Delp, daughter of Johann Nicolaus Delp & Anna Margaretha Dascher. Maria Catharina Delp had been born in Webern on 13 Marcy 1721.

Schmidt (Schwed)

Karl Friedrich Schmidt, a single craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Schwed on 27 July 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

The 1767 census records that Karl Friedrich Schmidt came from the Swedish town of Malmö.

Kater

Johann Kater (age 15) and his sister Anna Katharina (age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwed in Household No. 2 along with their mother Elisabeth and stepfather Andreas Jäger.

They had settled in Schwed on 12 July 1767.

Eberlein (Seelmann)

Johann[es] Eberle [sic], a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Eberle [sic] came from the German region of Alsace. The 1767 census records that Johannes Eberlein came from the German village of Ton in the Kurpfalz region.

Jakob(s)

Johann [Nikolaus] Jakob, a farmer, and his wife Walpurgia arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.

Widower Nikolaus Jakob settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 106.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Jakob came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Neuberg.

Ickes / Ix (Pfeifer)

Mathæus Ickes & Anna Maria Schädler were married on 16 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Anton [Mattias] Ickes, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 60.

The 1767 census records that Anton [Mattias] Ickes came from the German village of Wernborn bei Usingen.
