Gabriel Weinmeister, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 May 1766 aboard a pinque named Лапоминк (Lapomink - a Russian river) under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Krykov.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Dietel and is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Dt84.
His descendants are recorded on the 1834 census of Dietel in Households No. 78 & 178.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Gabriel Weinmeister came from the German region of Anhalt-Zerbst.
