There are no known male descendants of this Gutfeld family, so this surname does not continue among the Volga German colonies.

Georg Ernst Henckel, son of Jacob Henckel from Büdingen now a Russian colonist, & Anna Barbara Hosfeld, daughter of Johannes Hosfeld formerly from the vicinity of Hesdorff in the area of Thüngen, were married on 13 May 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Georg Ernst Henkel, a farmer, and his wife, Anna Barbara, settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 85 along with his sister-in-law Anna Katharina Gutfeld.

Nikolaus Henkel, a farmer, and his wife Magdalena arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They and their 2-day-old daughter are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 40.

In 1792, widow Magdalena Henkel and her son Philipp moved from Norka to Anton. They are recorded on the 1798 census of Anton in Household No. An03.

Johannes Henkel, a farmer from the district of Isenburg, and his wife, Elisabeth, settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 23.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Henkel family among the Volga German colonies.

Johann Georg Kniss, son of Johannes Kniss, and Maria Margaretha Franck, daughter of Johann Heinrich Franck of Radmühl, were married in Büdingen on 14 April 1763. Maria Margaretha was baptized on 20 October 1730 in Unterreichenbach. They had one child according to the Büdingen parish records: Sabina Henrietta, baptized on 26 February 1764.

Johann Georg Kniss, a farmer, his wife Maria Margaretha, and daughter Anna Christina [sic] (age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink named Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Daniel Jacoby, a farmer from the Pfalz, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and his sister Maria Eva settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 106.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Jacoby family among the Volga German colonies.

Widow Susanna Jacoby and her sons (Johann Philipp, age 16; Johann Georg, age 9) are recorded there on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 82. They had settled in Norka on 15 August 1767.

Philipp Jacoby and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt34.

Georg Jacoby and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Laub in Household No. Lb47.

The death of Georg Jacoby in 1824 is recorded on the 1834 census of Laub in Household No. 55.

Johannes Scheidemantel [sic], son of Johannes Scheidemantel & Anna Martha Heintz, was born on 19 June 1739 in Rotensee and baptized 21 June 1739.

Johannes Scheidemantel [sic] married on 2 April 1765 in Unterhaun to Anna Margaretha Wölcker.

Anna Margaretha, daughter of Caspar Wölcker & Anna Elisabeth Klotzbach, was born 11 November 1728 in Rotensee and baptized 14 November 1728.

Johannes Maul was born in Radmühl and baptized at the parish church in Freiensteinau on 14 February 1710. He married in Bindsachsen on 29 May 1738 to Anna Catharina Schneider. She had been born in Bindsachsen and baptized there on 27 September 1714.

The baptisms of three children born to Johannes Maul & Anna Catharina Schneider are recorded in the parish register of Bindsachsen: (1) Johann Heinrich, baptized 30 September 1742; (2) Johann Carl Maul, baptized 11 July 1745; and (3) Anna Catharina, baptized 13 June 1751.

Nikolaus Schilling, a farmer, his wife Katharina Elisabeth, and children (Nikolaus, age 9; Johann Heinrich, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 2.
