Gramlich

Johann Adam Gramlich was born in Bofsheim (southeast of Buchen Odenwald; today in Baden-Württemberg) on 4 March 1748.

He, along with his mother Anna Dorothea (age 53) and step-father Michael Marcker (age 39) [who was from Bodigheim in the Odenwald district] migrated to Denmark with Marcker's daughters (Anna Katharina, age 15; Anna Barbara, age 13). They arrived in Fridericia [Denmark] on 21 June 1760.

Graf (Schilling)

Jacob Gräf married Anna Eva Baslern, daughter of Caspar & Anna Margaretha Baslern, on 10 January 1752 in the Evangelical Church of Spöck, today a borough of Karlsruhe city. Anna Eva had been baptized on 26 May 1729 in the same church.

They had four known children, each baptized in Spöck: (1) Eva Catharina, on 11 November 1752; (2) Jacob, on 10 May 1754; (3) Catharina Margaretha, on 22 July 1756; and (4) Martin, 21 April 1759.

Gossmann (Göbel)*

Johann Michael Gossmann, son of Johann Adam & Agnetis Gosmann, was baptized on 21 December 1731 in the St. Stephan's (Sankt Stephan) Catholic Church in the city of Mainz, the capital of Rheinland-Pfalz.

Michael Gossmann, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 Juy 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Göbel on 20 August 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.

Gorr (Reinwald)

Heinrich Gorr, a farmer, was born about 1708 in Schönberg.

Heinrich Gorr, a farmer, his [new] wife Julianna Eleonore, and children (Christina Sophia, age 17; Johann August, age 13; Johann Friedrich, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Reinwald in Household No. 2. An older son Gottlieb Gorr, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Maria Magdalena (age 2) are recorded in Household No. 34. They had arrived in Reinwald on 14 July 1766.

In 1788, August and his family moved from Reinwald to the colony of Schwed.

Gomer

Andreas Gomer was born on 11 August 1713 in Adelshofen, a small community west of Heilbronn. He married to Elisabetha Hofmann who was born in 1717.

They had four children, each born in Adelshofen: (1) Katharina Elisabetha, born 4 May 1741; (2) Katharina Margaretha, born 5 September 1743; (3) Johann Friedrich, born 15 July 1747; and (4) Johann Michael, born 20 August 1757.

Gerber (Herzog)

Martin Gerber, son of Sebastian Gerber & Maria Magdalena Igers, was baptized on 23 October 1718 in the Catholic church of Grünsfeld, a town about 25 kilometers southwest of Würzburg in Baden-Württemberg. He married Anna Margaretha Mayer, daughter of Leonhard Mayer & Maria Barbara Eidel, on 21 February 1746 in Grünsfeld. She had also been baptized there on 10 April 1717.

Götz (Kukkus-1)

Johann Heinrich Götz, son of Johann Peter Götz & Anna Christina Pitz, was born 31 August 1736 in Kölschhausen. He married there on 27 February 1759 to Anna Elisabeth Debus, daughter of Johann Friedrich Debus & Maria Wilhelmina "Wilhelmina" Moritz. She was also born in Kölschhausen on 24 January 1738.

In Kölschhausen, Johann Heinrich & Anna Elisabeth had at least three children: (1) Maria Elisabeth - born 2 January 1760; (2) Justina - born 13 October 1761; and (3) Johann Konrad - born 18 November 1763.

Glöckner

Johann Michael Klöckler, son of Hans Michael Klöckler, was born in 1716 near Heilbronn. He married Sophia Knodel, daughter of Hans Michael Knodel, on 27 May 1749 in the Kürnbach Evangelical Church, southwest of Heilbronn.

They had five children, each baptized in Hüffenhardt, northwest of Heilbronn: (1) Philipp Anton, baptized 21 March 1750; (2) Philippina Katharina, baptized 12 June 1751; (3) Johannes, baptized 2 January 1753; (4) Johann Kaspar, baptized 21 May 1755; and (5) Georg Martin, baptized 10 November 1756.

Glockenhammer

Johann Caspar Glockenhammer, son of Valentin & Maria Magdalena Glockenhammer, was born on 15 April 1721 in Hofheim. He married there on 10 January 1745 to Anna Barbara Gräser, daughter of Lorentz & Anna Maria Gräser. They have two known sons: Johannes (born in Hofheim on 29 May 1752) and Johann Adam (born in Hofheim on 19 Jul 1755).
