Johann Georg Breit, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Sebastian, age 18; Franz Anton, age 13; Johann Thomas, age 10½; Katharina Elisabeth, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 11 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Citadel under the command of Midshipman Gregory Bukharin.

Johann Georg Breit, his wife Catharina, and children (Sebastian, age 20; Frantz Anthon, age 14; Johann Thomas, age 10; Catrina Elisabeth, age 8) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Georg Breit, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Franz Anton, age 15; Johannes Thomas, age 12; Katharina, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 77. They had arrived in Pfeifer on 22 August 1767.

Anna Margaretha Breit née Schwed, widow of Sebastian Breit, is recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 79.

The 1798 census of Pfeifer (Household No. Pf87) records that grandson Michael is living in Saratov and that grandson Franz is working in Brabander.

By 1798, the widow of Anton Breit and and their children are recorded in Semenovka in Household No. Se34.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Breit came from the German village of Michelstadt.
