Hepp (Graf)
There are two Hepp families that settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded on the 1767 census although they are presumed to be father and son.
(1) Peter Hepp, his wife Anna Barbara, and son Johannes Adam (age 18) settled in the Volga German colony of Graf. Peter died. Widow Anna Barbara and their son are recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 11.
Johann Adam Hepp is recorded on the 1798 census of Graf in Household No. Gf13.
(2) Philipp Hepp, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Margaretha, and son Peter (age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 10.
Johann Peter Hepp is recorded on the 1798 census of Graf in Household No. Gf18.
The 1834 census of Graf records in Household No. 58 that Georg Hepp, son of Peter Hepp, moved from Graf to Wittmann in 1828.
Peter Hepp, son of Peter Hepp, and his family are recorded on the 1874 Family List of Liebental.
The 1767 census records that both of these Hepp families came from the German village of Aschaffenburg.
