Rüder (Wittmann)
Andreas Rüder, his wife Appolonia, and children (Margaretha, age 12; Christian, age 9¼; Paulus, age 5½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.
Andreas Ruder, his wife Appolonia, and children (Margaretha, age 12; Christian, age 9½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Andreas Rüder, a farmer, his wife Appolonia, and children (Anna Maria, age 10; Hans Georg, age 8) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 31 along with a note that they relocated to the Volga German colony of Wittmann in 1768.
The 1798 census of Wittmann (Household No. Wm46) records that Magdalena Rüder and her family are working in Biberstein.
The death of Andreas Ruder at the age of 71 is recorded on 18 June 1803 in the parish register of Wittmann.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Rüder came from the German village of Henhoffen [Hemhofen?].
