Was(s)inger
Joseph Wassinger married on 3 November 1750 in Ormesheim, today just southeast of the Saarbrücken airport, to Anna Barbara Schledohr, daughter of Claud Schledohr and Margaretha Lenert. Anna Barbara was the widow of Joseph Kinderknecht, and had several children with him.
Both the Wassinger and the Kinderknecht families immigrated to Russia.
The Wassinger family arrived in Graf on 10 June 1766, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 26.
In 1787, Simon Wasinger moved from Graf to Schäfer.
By the time of the 1798 Census, descendants of this family had also resettled to Brabander and Mariental.
The 1834 census of Graf records in Household No. 29 that Georg Peter Wasinger, son of Joseph Wasinger, moved from Graf to Zug in 1826.
The 1857 census of Graf (Household No. 39) records that Johannes Wasinger moved from Graf to Herzog in 1852.
The 1857 census of Herzog (Household No. 140) records that Johannes Wasinger arrived in Herzog from Graf in 1854.
