Rauch (Preuss)*

Thomas Rauch, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Elisabeth, and children (Heinrich, age 5; Margaretha, age 4; Barbara, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.

The settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 15 July 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 129.

Resch (Preuss-2)

Johann Peter Resch, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Katharina, age 11; Mattias, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heidemann.

Johann Peter Resch, his wife Katharina, and son Mattias (age 8) settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 122.

The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Resch came from the German village of Montabaur in the Kurtrier region.

Resch (Preuss-1)

Michael Resch and his wife Susanna Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Johann Hermann Anderson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 96.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Resch was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a hunter (Jäger).

In 1798, Thomas Resch moved from Preuss to Brabander.

Müller (Preuss)*

Dietrich Müller, a mason (Maurer), his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann & Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.

Dietrich Müller is recorded on the list of those being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Sartor*

Anton Sartor and his wife Anna Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Der Engel Rafael under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 121.

Anton Sartor, his wife, and his daughter and daughter's family are recorded on the 1798 census of Preuss in Household No. Ps73.

Rothler*

Heinrich Rothler, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, children (Marianna, age 4; Joseph, age 1), and [step-]son Philipp [Scherscher] (age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.

Schwar(t)z (Preuss)

Widow Anna Schwarz, a farmer's wife, and her family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Junger Friederika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm. 

They settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Households No. 29 & 32.

The 1767 census records that this Schwarz family came from the German village of Attendorn.
