Stang (Nieder-Monjou)

In 1786, Georg Stang and his family moved from Nieder-Monjou to Fischer.

Georg Stang from Nieder-Monjou and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Fischer in Household No. Fs04.

The descendants of Georg Stang are recorded on the 1834 census of Fischer in Households No. 7, 39, & 42.

Ackermann (Pobochnaya)

Johann Ackermann was born in approximately 1792.  He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians.  He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, is believed to have settled in the Volga German colony of Neu-Straub.  However, he is recorded on the 1834 census of Pobochnaya in Household No. 20.

Wolf (Kratzke-2)

Philipp Wolf (born about 1772) and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 69. From where they came is not recorded, but they were not in Kratzke in 1816.

There are no male descendants of this Wolf family recorded on the 1857 or 1897 censuses of Kratzke.

März (Lauwe)

Heinrich März, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 43. They had settled there on 5 September 1767.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich März came from the German village of Fürth in the Ansbach region.

Mekler*

Michael Mekler, a mason (Maurer), and his daughter Elisabeth (age 18) are recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 52 along with a note that his wife had died during the journey from Oranienbaum to the Volga region. Michael and his daughter had settled in Lauwe on 5 September 1767, and a note on the 1767 census records that they relocated to the colony of Kukkus in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Michael Mekler came from the German village of Mekerkingen [?] in the Wittenberg region.

Müller (Lauwe)*

Friedrich Müller (age 13) is recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 51 along with his stepfather Friedrich Stieglitz. A note accompanying the census records that Friedrich's father had fled ("Vater ist geflohen"). They had settled in Lauwe on 19 August 1767 and his unnamed mother died there on 9 November 1767.

The 1767 census does not record from where Friedrich Müller came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.

Raschler*

Jakob Fischer, a chimney sweep, his wife Margaretha, and [step?-]children (Margaretha, age 15½; Karl, age 10; Friederika, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.

Karl Raschler (age 12) is recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 14 along with his stepfather Jakob Fischer. They had settled in Lauwe on 19 August 1767.

The 1767 census does not record from where Karl Raschler came.
