Wagner (Basel)

It is believed that widower Jakob Peter Erb married the widow Elisabeth Wagner. He had 1 son (Johannes) from his previous marriage, and she had 3 children (Ludwig, Georg, & Katharina) from her previous marriage.

Peter Erb, a turner, his wife Elisabeth, children (Johann, age 10; Daniel, age 2½), and [step-]children (Ludwig [Wagner], age 16; Georg [Wagner], age 13; Katharina [Wagner], age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Petrÿ (Basel-1)

Johann Petrÿ, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda arrived at Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Johannes Petri and his wife Cunigunda are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johannes Petrÿ, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 121.

Johann Petrÿ and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Basel in Household No. Bs39.

Geier (Warenburg)

Johann Geier (age 11) and his sister Maria Margaretha (age 5) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 141 along with their stepfather Johann Peter Eng.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Geier siblings came.

Meier (Walter)

There are 4 Meier families recorded in Walter. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Friedrich Meier and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Walter in Household No. Wt011.

(2) Johann Heinrich Meier and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Walter in Household No. Wt017 along with a note that son Johann Friedrich Meier is working in Kukkus.

(3) Georg Meier and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Walter in Household No. Wt099.

Mahr

Johann Jacob Mahr, son of Johann Peter Mahr from Wildsachsen, married on 25 April 1747 to Eleonora Philippina Dorothea Winden, daughter of Georg Winden from Massenheim.

Groth (Walter)

Johannes Kroth [sic] and his son Johann Just (age 12) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Jost Groth and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Walter in Household No. Wt101 along with a note that a couple of his sons are working in the colony of Frank.

The Groth family is recorded on the 1834 census of Walter in Households No. 178 and 195.

Hall (Warenburg)

There are two Hall families from the Volga German colony of Warenburg. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research:

(1) Adam Hall and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Warenburg in Household No. Wr093.

(2) Andreas Hall from Warenburg and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. St54.
