Sohn (Warenburg)*

Georg Heinrich Sohn (age 11) is recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 23 along with his stepfather Georg Adam Pfeil.

The 1767 census does not record from where Georg Heinrich Sohn came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Sohn family among the Volga German colonies.

Stuler (Warenburg)*

Johannes Stuler and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Warenburg in Household No. Wr114.

The death of Johannes Stuler in 1799 is recorded on the 1811 census of Warenburg in Household No. 114.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Weber (Warenburg-2)*

Georg Weber, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 147.

The 1767 census records that Georg Weber came from the German village of Büches in the Isenburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Weber family among the Volga German colonies.

Weberling

Wilhelm Weberling, a carpenter (Zimmermann), his wife Anna Maria, and daughter Anna Christina are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 5. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.

The 1767 census records that Wilhelm Weberling came from the German village of Furmal [?] in the Hannover region.

Wiegner (Warenburg)*

Johann Joachim Wiegener, a blacksmith (Schmied), and his wife Anna Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 151.

The 1767 census records that Johann Joachim Wiegener came from the German region of Magdeburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Wolf (Warenburg)

Johann Wolf, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Charlotte, and daughters (Katharina, age 16; Eva Elisabeth, age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 159. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Wolf came from the German village of Kaduk [?] in the Erbach region.

Beidorf

Johann Pittorf [sic], his wife Anna, and daughter Margaretha (age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.

Johann Pittorff [sic], his wife Anna Maria, and daughter Margaretha (age 12) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Georg Bittor [sic], a mason (Maurer), his wife Maria, and daughter Maria (age 13) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Kaneau in Household No. 22.

Bock (Zug)

Karl Bock, a miner, his wife Martha, and daughter Wilhelmina (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Carl Bock, his wife Anna Marta, and children (Wilhelmina, age 2¼; Conrad, age ¼) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both children died in route.

Bossert (Wittmann)*

Orphan Elisabeth Bossert (age 10) is recorded on the list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 106 along with the Franz Anfang family. A note on the 1767 census records that the Anfang family relocated to the colony fo Wittmann in 1768 and Elisabeth Bossert is presumed to have settled there with them.

The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Bossert and Anfang families.
