Lieber (Susannental)

Philipp Lieber, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Maria, age 17; Johann, age 14; Philipp, age 10; Katharina, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Janson.

Phillip Jacob Lieber, his wife Anna Dorothea, and children (Margaretha, age 17¼; Joh. Daniel, age 14; Joh. Philipp, age 10½; and Catharina (born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Fladung (Susannental)

Johann Heinrich Flautung [sic] & Anna Maria Mull were married 12 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

Friedrich Flatung and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Johann Heinirch Flatung and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Zweigert

Adam Zweigert and his family, along with his sister Eva Rosina (age 18) are recorded on the 1798 census of Straub in Household No. Sr21.

Adam Zweigert and his son (Johann Heinrich, age 4) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 21 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].

Adam Zweigert and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 36.

Dein

Bernhard Dein, a farmer, and his wife Susanna settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 127.

The widow of Bernhard Tain [sic] and their son (Andreas, age 19) are recorded on the 1798 census of Straub in Household No. Sr33.

Andreas Deis [sic] and his stepfather (Friedrich Bollinger) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 33 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].

Öhlschläger

Early documents in Russia record this surname with a variety of spellings, but modern generations in the United States use the spelling of Oehlschlaeger.

Konrad Wohlschleger [sic], a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Maria, age 17; Johann, age 13; Peter, age 10; Martin age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum  on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

Lung

Johann Wilhelm Lung and his brother Georg Heinrich are recorded on the 1798 census of Straub in Household No. Sr11.

Johann Philipp Lenk [believed to be Lung], a clerk (Schreiber), and his wife Maria Barbara are recorded on the 1767 census of Straub in Household No. 50. They had settled there on 19 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Philipp Lenk came from the German village of Fitegen [?] in the Hohenlohe region.

[This surname is translated as "Mong" on the 1798 census of Straub, but Lung confirmed in later generations.]

Lingler (Straub)

The widow and sons of Anton Lingler are recorded on the 1798 census of Straub in Household No. Sr22.

Georg Heinrich Lingler (age 6) & Johann Philipp Lingler (age 5) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 22 along with their stepfather Martin Schröder and a note that they all relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].

Philipp Lingler, stepson of Martin Schröder, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 28.
