Eltz*

Johann Georg Eltz, a farmer, and his wife Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 13 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 93 along with Anna Maria Neuberger (age 36), a day laborer (Lohnarbeiterin) who is living with them.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Eltz came from the German region of Anhalt-Zerbst.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Breidel

Margaretha Breidel, her unnamed husband, a farmer, and their son Lorenz settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 26 June 1767. The unnamed husband died on 6 July 1767. Margaretha Breidel and her son Lorenz (age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 116 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Dehler in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Margaretha Breidel came from the German village of Burgau in Bayern (Bavaria).

von Hildner

Georg Friedrich von Hildner, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.

Georg Friedrich von Hildner, a captian in the Prussian military (preussischer Hauptmann), and his wife Margaretha are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 1.

In 1773, Friedrich von Hildner and his family moved from Boisroux to Saratov.

Giemer*

Orphan Dorothea Giemer is recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 8 along with the Christian Töpfer family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Giemer and Töpfer families.

The 1767 census does not record from where Dorothea Giemer came.

There are no known surviving male descendant lines of this Giemer family among the Volga German colonies.

Hen(t)ze (Boisroux)

An article by Hermann Wäschke records the following going to Russia:

Christlieb [sic] Hentze, with his wife and 3 sons and one daughter, from Naundorf, originally from Saxony. His house was sold to his brother, Johann Gottfried Hentze, in Oranienbaum.

Gottlieb Hentze, with his wife and 3 children (two sons & one daughter), from Naundorf, originally from Saxony. his house was sold to his brother, Johann Gottfried Hentze, in Oranienbaum.

Herr (Boisroux)

In 1771, widow Anna Maria Herr moved from Boisroux and married Andreas Schäfer in Philippsfeld. She took her son Christian with her.

The 1798 census of Philippsfeld records widow Johanna [sic] Maria Schäfer in Household No. Pp07 and that she is living with relatives in Basel where her son Christian Herr is working.

Messer (Boisroux)

Georg Messer, a farmer, and his wife Sophia are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 79. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.

In 1783, Georg Messer and his family moved from Boisroux to Reinhard.

Christian Messer, presumed son of Georg Messer, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Reinhard in Household No. Rh13.

In 1798, Andreas Messer moved from Reinhard to Boisroux. Andreas Messer from Reinhard and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Boisroux in Household No. Bx23.
