Rennert (Messer)*

In 1790, Heinrich Rennert (born about 1759) and his family moved from Messer to Franzosen.

Heinrich Rennert from Messer is recorded on the 1798 census of Franzosen in Household No. Fz29 along with his wife and daughter.

The death of Heinrich Rennert in 1825 is recorded on the 1834 census of Franzosen in Household No. 1.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rennert family among the Volga German colonies.

Haupt (Unknown)*

Gottfried Haupt, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Johann Gottf. Haubt [sic] and his wife Cathrina [sic] Mar. are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Cathrina died in route.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Gottfried Haupt came from the German region of Dessau.

Weigandt (Unknown-1)*

Michael Weigandt, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Michael Wigand [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony he settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Weigandt came from the German village of Halberstadt.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Bäcker / Becker (Unknown-1)*

Johann Becker, a farmer, and his wife Kunigunda arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Johann Pirner [sic] and his wife Kunigunda are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Becker, a farmer, an dhis wife Kunigunda are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census.

It is not known in which colony they settled.
