Hansel (Unknown)*

Joseph Anzel [sic], a single tinsmith, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Joseph Harsel [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann [sic] Hansel, a tinsmith (Zinnarbeiter), and his [new] wife Katharina are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux.

It is not known in which colony he settled.

Schmidt (Unknown-1)*

Johann Schmidt, a locksmith, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Johannes Schmidt, his wife Barbara, and newborn daughter Anna are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Schmidt, a locksmith (Schlosser), his wife Barbara, and daughter Eva (age 1) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census.

Rettiger*

Johann[es] Rettiger, a farmer, his wife Eva, and children (Eva, age 14; Magdalena, age 12; Elisabeth, age 10; Johann [sic], age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Johannes Rettiger, his wife Margretha [sic], and children (Eva Maria, age 14; Magdalena, age 12; Elisabeth, age 10¼; Joseph, age 8) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Pelsack*

Nikolaus Pelsack, a single stonemason, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard the bark named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Nicolaus Pelsack is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Beck (Zug)*

Jakob Beck, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Jacob Beck and his wife Margretha [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Engel (Unknown)*

Widow Anna Engel arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Anna Engel is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony she settled.

The 1767 census records that Anna Engel came from the German region of Mainz.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Engel family among the Volga German colonies.

Baget*

Mattias Baget, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Mattheus [sic] Baget and his wife Cathrina [sic] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony the Baget family settled.

The 1767 census records that Mattias Baget came from the German region of Mainz.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Baget family among the Volga German colonies.

Reinhardt (Unknown)*

Kaspar Reinhardt, a farmer, his wife Christina, and son Johann (age ¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Caspar Reinhard [sic], his wife Christina, and new-born son Johannes are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both father Casper and son Johannes died in route.

It is not known in which colony Widow Christina Reinhardt settled.

Römer (Unknown)*

There are two Römer families who arrived in Lübeck together in 1766 and travelled together from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johann Römer, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Johannes Römer and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Meisner (Unknown)*

Joseph Meisner, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Joseph Meissner [sic] is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from Oranienbaum to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony he settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Joseph Meisner came from the German region of Bayreuth.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Meisner family among the Volga German colonies.
