In 1791, Georg Dermer and his family moved from Moor to Laub.

Johann Georg Dermer from Lauwe and his son Michael Konrad are recorded on the 1811 census of Jost in Household No. 44 along with a note that Johann Georg had arrived in Jost from Lauwe in 1803.

Abraham Dermer from Straub is recorded on the 1811 census of Jost in Household No. 40 along with a note that he had arrived in Jost from Straub in 1808 [sic].
Abraham Dermer from Jost is recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 62 along with a note that he had arrived in Straub from Jost in 1809 [sic].
The 1834 census of Straub records this same Abraham Dermer in Household No. 55.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Dermer was a farmer from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker) from the Isenburg region.
