Schomburg, Gustav

Pastor Schomburg was born 3 August 1835 in Kitzlar, Prussia, and died on 6 June 1892 in Odessa, Russia.

He served the parishes of Worms-Johannestal (Odessa District) from 1863-1867; the parish of Neu-Postal in Bessarabia from 1867-1877; the parish of Katharinenstadt from 1877-1882; and the parish in Saratov from 1883-1887.

Schön, Albert Arthur

The Rev. Albert Arthur Schön was born on 18 June 1887 in Bialostock. He was ordained on 4 October 1915 in St. Petersburg and served congregations in Neu-Saratovka (1915-1916), Krasnoyar (1916-1918), Neu-Postal (Bessarabia) (1919-1922), and Vladimir-Volynsk (1922-1940).

Schneylin, Georg

Father Georg Schneylin was born 3 April 1780 in Alsace, and died on 8 June 1837 in Tarnopol. He was a member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit Order) and was ordained on 13 July 1808.

He served the parish of Schönchen from 10 February 1814 to 31 December 1820.

Schneider, Johannes

Pastor Schneider was born 28 July 1845 [Schnurr records birth in 1846] and served in the Basel Mission School. He was ordained on 13 March 1873 and went to Canada before going to Stephan where he served the congregation from 1882-1915. He died in March 1915 and is buried in Stephan.

Pastor Schneider had two daughters (Flora & Frieda) and one son (Theophilus).

Schmieder, Friedrich Wilhelm

Pastor Friedrich Wilhelm Schmieder, son of Pastor Georg Schmieder, was born in Daubitz in Saxony.

He began his study of theology at the seminary in Leipzig on 21 May 1785. He was ordained 8 July 1808 in Moscow and served as pastor of the congregation in Galka from 1808 to 1825.

Pastor Schmieder married in Moscow on 20 July 1807 to Friederike Wilhelmine Sophie Richter, daughter of the supervising hunter Friedrich Richter and adopted daughter of the merchant Christoph August Glöckner.

Schmidt, Leopold

Pastor Leopold Schmidt was born 12 July 1875 and died from typhus in Stalingrad on 7 May 1927. He was ordained on 19 March 1906.

He served the congregation in Sarepta from 1906-1913 and in Tsarizyn from 1914 until his death in 1927.
