Jost Bäcker, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Grimm in Household No. 53 along with orphan Johann Konrad Waffel (age 19). The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Bäcker and Waffel families.

Jost Becker, his wife Katharina, and sons (Andreas, age 6; Johann Peter, age 3; Johann Kaspar, age 1¾) are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 130 along with his brother Johann Peter (age 18) [it is not known where Johann Peter Becker appears on the 1767 census].

The children of Jost Becker are recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm048.

The death Andreas Becker in 1823 is recorded on the 1834 census of Grimm in Household No. 209.

Johannes Becker and his brothers Christian & Georg Adam, sons of Andreas Becker, are recorded on the 1857 census of Grimm in Household No. 237 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Erlenbach in 1852.

Georg Adam Becker from Grimm and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Erlenbach in Household No. 45.

Christian Becker from Grimm and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Erlenbach in Household No. 47.

The death in 1851 of Johannes Becker from Grimm is recorded on the 1857 census of Erlenbach in Household No. 55 along with his family.

Konrad Friedrich Becker, the youngest son of Andreas Becker, and his family remained in Grimm and are recorded on the 1857 census of Grimm in Household No. 237.

Johann Kaspar Becker, son of Jost Becker, moved to Dobrinka in 1801-1802.

The death of Kaspar Becker in 1831 is recorded on the 1834 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 109.

David Becker, son of Kaspar Becker, is recorded on the 1835-1846 Dobrinka Communion Register with a note that he moved to Dreispitz.

In 1790, Johann Peter Becker moved from Grimm to Kraft.

Johann Konrad [sic] Becker from Grimm and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Kraft in Household No. Kf63. The 1798 Agricultural Census of Kraft records his name as Johann Peter Becker.

Kaspar Becker, son of Andreas Becker, from Galka and his family are recorded on the 1850 census of Schwab in Household No. 142.

Kaspar Becker and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Schwab in Household No. 141 along with a note that they relocated to the daughter colony of Erlenbach in 1852.

Kaspar Becker from Schwab and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Erlenbach in Household No. 27.

The 1767 census records that Jost Bäcker came from the German region of Darmstadt.
