Jakob Kummersheimer, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Henrietta, age 12; Konrad, age 11; Jakob, age 8; Johann, age 6; Sebastian, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 on a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.

Jakob Kummersheimer, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children ( Henrietta, age 18; Johann Konrad, age 14; Johann Jakob, age 12; Johann Ulrich, age 8; Sebastian, age 6; Sophia Margaretha, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kautz in Household No. 27. They had settled in Kautz on 30 August 1767.

[Johann] Konrad Kummersheimer and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Kautz in Household No. Kz17.

The death of Konrad Kommerstein [sic] in 1801 is recorded on the 1811 census of Kautz in Household No. 17.

In 1790, [Johann] Ulrich Kummersheimer moved from Kautz to Bauer.

Konrad Kummersheimer and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Bauer in Household No. 91.

Heinrich Jakob Kummersheimer and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Bauer in Household No. 95.

In 1790, Sebastian Kummersheimer moved from Kautz to Hussenbach.

Jakob Kummersheim[er] and his family are recorded on the 1811 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 100 along with a note that the widow of his deceased son [Nikolaus] and grandson Michael had moved to Grimm.

Michael Kummersheimer, son of the deceased Nikolaus Kummersheimer, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Grimm in Household No. 266.

The death of Sebastian Kummersheimer in 1826 is recorded on the 1834 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 99.

The 1767 census records that the Kummersheimer family came from the German village of Mutterstadt in the Pfalz.
