Lorenz Grimm, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He and his wife are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27.
In 1792, Lorenz Grimm and his wife moved from Schuck to Volmer. In 1792, Lorenz Grimm and his family moved from Franzosen to Volmer.
The 1767 census records that Lorenz Grimm came from the French village of Dahn.
Johann Peter Dörr (age 30), a farmer, and his wife Maria Agnesa Retzbach are recorded on a list of colonists dated 23 September 1765 who were gathering in the town of Worms. They had arrived in Worms on 23 September 1765.
Peter Dörr, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. Peter, his [new] wife Elisabeth, and daughter Anna Maria (age ½) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.
In 1790, widow Katharina Dörr and her children moved from Schuck to Kutter.
Friedrich Rergard, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He and his wife Maria Eva are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Rergard came from the German village of Bernkastel in the Trier region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Johann Knauf, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He, his wife Anna Maria, and son Johann Jakob (age 1) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24.
Jakob Knauf remarried in 1804 to Elisabeth Schmidt.
The death of Jakob Knauf is recorded on 24 April 1808 on the Rohleder Parish Register.
The 1767 census records that Johann Knauf came from the German village of Grünstadt in in the Kurpfalz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Knauf family among the Volga German colonies.
There are two Sieben families that eventually settled in the colony of Schuck. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Hieronymus Sieben, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He and his family are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20.
In 1794, Balthasar Sieben moved from Schuck to Pfeifer.
The death of Hieronimus Sieben, son of Georg Sieben, in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Degott in Household No. 1.
Konrad Näb, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Joh. Conrad Newe and his wife Maria Magdalena are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Maria Magdalena died en route.
Karl Näb, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19 along with a note recording that he moved to the colony of Degott in 1768.
In 1789, widower Karl Näb and his family moved from Degott to Schuck.
The widow of Karl Näb and their children (sons: Jakob, age 17; Karl, age 16) are recorded on the 1798 census of Schuck in Household No. Su31 along with a note that Jakob Näb is working in Kamenka.
Today, Gunzenhausen is located in the German State of Bayern (Bavaria), south-southeast of Ansbach.
